Meeting Location: Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences 1205 N. Fiesta Blvd Gilbert Az
Started our meeting promptly at 8pm. There were 19 students in attendance including the AES Officers. We reviewed our upcoming events, various internship opportunities offered to students, and asked about any event students would like to have made available. Also there was fond farewell to our fellow outgoing AES officer Aaron Robertson. We closed our meeting at 8:36pm
Upcoming Events:
June 14th - Blue Microphone 8:00pm, Gilbert Live Sound -Blue Microphones will be coming to our school to give presentations on their company, their gear and give away multiple prizes.
June 24th - Pyramix Vocal Clinic - Session 11:00am - 6:00pm, Glendale, AZ -CRAS students will be going to Pyramix Studios and running a vocal clinic session on their own.
June 25th - Hoot with Kahoot 8:00pm, Gilbert Campus Rm 103 -Join us for a fun educational night of audio engineering trivia in addition to our announcements and discussions!
July 5th - SoundWaves Speaking Event 8:00pm, Gilbert Campus Live Sound Room
-James Linton, owner of SoundWaves Studios, will be coming to discuss owning and
operating a small studio with us.
July 5th - Sneaky Big Studio Tour 10:00am, Mesa, AZ -20 PM class students will have the opportunity to tour Sneaky Big studios.
July 12th - Studio Etiquette Panel 8:00pm, Gilbert Campus Live Sound Room -Three of our teachers here on campus: Catherine Vericolli of 513 Studios, Alan Leggett formerly of Conway Recording and El Dorado Studios, and Jared Kvitka formerly of The Document Room, Piety Street Recording, and Nothing Studios will be discussing the finer aspects of etiquette in the studio.
July 19th - Sneaky Big Studio Tour 3:30pm, Mesa, AZ -20 AM class students will have the opportunity to tour Sneaky Big studios.
