Annual "gear swap meet", where AES-SF members sell or swap gear. This year it was held at CCSF (Community College of San Francisco), where committee member Dana Jae Labreque teaches in the BEMA (Broadcast Electronic Media Arts) department. Her students volunteered to assist sellers in setting up and loading in/out. 12 sellers rented table space and offered a wide variety of gear for sale. The focus of the swap meet was a presentation by Wes Dooley - who brought plenty of free components for anyone! He spoke on a wide variety of topics, centred on historical analogue gear and what led his path to manufacturing old- and new-design ribbon microphones and preamps. CCSF students also made video interviews of buyers and sellers alike for their class projects. There were a total of 52 attendees in addition to the sellers.
