The logo design for C.R.A.S.S. 2018
For the last two months we have been hard at work preparing for our annual Central Region Audio Student Summit. On January ninth we had a presentation on professional relations by Erin Ryan to prepare us for communicating and interacting with panelists and sponsors. We have been working with student designers to create a logo and program for the event. Also, we have been securing sponsorships from companies such as Genelec and Audio Precision to fund the event.
As of the end of the month, we have our panels planned and all of the panelists confirmed. We will have panels on topics ranging from audio codecs, to broadcast engineering, to breaking into the industry. Some notable panels would be In-Ear Monitoring and Hearing Loss, System Networking, and Adventures in Compression. Our keynote will be presented by Bob McCarthy and we will have other notable panelists such as Paul Womack, Margaret Luthar, John Merchant, David Scheirman, and many others. Our Summit will be happening February 23rd - 25th 2018.
