In a presentation entitled "Why is Reverberation Like Mayonaisse?" Jesse Klaphoz, former chair of the Philadelphia AES section, gave a history of issues in both acoustic reverberation and engineered implementations of reverberation. This well attended meeting was organized in tandem with Philadelphia's Acoustical Society of America section.
