On the 31st of October 2016, AES Colombia and Audio Technica Latinamerica joined forces to have this drums recording techniques in a local university and mostly oriented to students.
The talk was given by Alejandro Katato, live audio engineer sponsored by Audio Technica and Juan Tamayo, sales engineer for latinamerica. Along the talk, several miking techniques were discussed, not only for studio recording but also for live situations.
Students were very responsive and collaborative, trying to mix the drumkit with several desks available for them to play around.
At the end, some Audio Technica items were given away on a draw.
