Summary

This time, our commentary was concerning audio for the game development, focusing specifically the audio middleware "Wwise".
Game development costs literally tens of billions of yens nowadays, and how the game audio has been evolved is our subject. With the brief history explained, the demonstration shows actual work how audio is added to the silent demo game. Along with these demonstrations, current typical game audio workflow, interactive music, advanced VR audio, and "Ambisonics"were explained as well.
