CRAS AES Team Meeting Flyer
Neil began the meeting by announcing upcoming intern hours and events (a mic build, advanced pro-tools class and an internship bootcamp.) Before the floor was opened to new suggestions, Neil mentioned that the school now has a student musician database. This way it will be easier to find good artists to record for school projects.
A new member, Nick, suggested a clinic about trying to get a good quality recording in a non-ideal environment. Nico brought up an idea for a studio etiquette clinic taught by one of our instructors, Mark Brisbane. Nico also said that Mark would also like to do a post-production clinic. An open mic/student ran, live show was suggested, getting the logistics worked out will not be the easiest thing but there was a positive response to the idea. We closed the meeting with talking about our trip to the AES convention in L.A..
