Summary

The meeting got started with a short introduction for the new faces. With introductions out of the way the AES president talked about old business ( planed and pending events). The members were updated on the status of the musician index list. Our Thursday event (IATSE introduction) as well as our weekend events Sunday and Saturday (Steve Lagudi), Saturday ( Sun Studio tour). There was progress made on an instrument clinic discussed last meeting, It we planned to be scheduled for next Thursday, instruments included Guitar and Drums.
We moved on to new business. Lyric suggested an Anechoic Chamber tour. Lia said that she had connections to get Jim Hattric, a local radio personality, to talk to the students one Thursday evening. An event watching Interstellar in the Surround Sound room was suggested by Sam. Joseph brought up the idea of touring the Musical Instrument Museum. A Miking/ear training clinic was suggested by Jake. Lyric came up with a sound design contest (Ex. Making a basketball sound and recording it without recording an actual basketball) and with no further questions or concerned the meeting was adjourned.
