Summary
The purpose of this hangout was to teach students the basics of drum tuning in a short 60-minute session. A detuned 4-piece drum set was brought to the room and the students were taught how to tune the kick drum, snare drum and toms as a hands-on class. Several topics such as drum head types, tuning procedures and drum maintenance were discussed as part of this session.
