About The Presentation:
The Audio System designer faces many challenges in the implementation of audio systems that meet the many expectations of those involved. Through a few case studies a path becomes apparent that leads to solutions that provide every opportunity for success. Success for every performance, however, cannot be guaranteed and this truth becomes an essential topic for understanding the limitations of improving the listening experience.

About the Speaker:
Jonathan Laney is an audio system designer, consultant, and collaborator. He is principal consultant at Threshold Acoustics where he helps his clients improve the listening experience within their facilities. Jonathan's experience is a synergy of science, art, and hands-on production. His career list of projects include: Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Hancher Auditorium in Iowa City, Peter Kiewit Concert Hall in Omaha, Oceanarium Presentation Hall at the John G Shedd Aquarium, and the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park - where he continues to provide support for the ongoing operation and maintenance of the audio systems.
