CRAS Instructor Jay Phillips held an AES prevention on Building a home studio in a limited space. Some of the things he covered were:
How to get your room to a point where you know how it sounds.
How to avoid standing waves.
Putting sand under the floor to get rid of resonance.
And some tips he gave us included:
Sometimes you have to compromise due to limited space.
Anything you can get for free in order to save money, go for it.
You have to have good vibe in your studio too!
