Summary

The end goal of the current officers was to come up with a fourth member who would be able to lead in: experience, leadership, and secretary-related duties in a professional setting.

The current officers and I mandated a formal interview with attitudes and professionalism alike, followed-up with a college-level spelling test.

Besides the standard job interviews such as, "Why are you better suited for this role than the other candidates?" and "Tell us about the last time you were on a team," the officers and I threw curve balls to see how good they were at thinking on their feet and if their personalities would mesh well with the type of culture and atmosphere we would like to shape in our section.

These questions included:
1) What environment do you work best in?
2) Where do you see yourself in 5 years in relation to audio?
3) If someone wrote a biography about you tomorrow, what would it be titled?

These questions aided us in choosing our final officer team member and actually gave us the idea to appoint an unofficial position that would shadow all four officer roles.
