Other business or activities at the meeting: At this meeting, prior to our talk with the Shure competition team from the University of Lethbridge, members discussed travel arrangements for our upcoming trip to the Banff Centre for a talk by Florian Camerer. We also discussed funding opportunities available from the University of Lethbridge for student organisations, and possible upcoming events.

The focal point of this meeting was a talk given by the team that represented the University of Lethbridge in Shure's Fantastic Scholastic X recording contest, which achieved the runner-up position in this contest which closed in February of 2014. Four members present of the original team of five (Sam Walker-Kierluk, Shae Brossard, Jacob Hills, and Nick Goodman) discussed the entire production of this process from start to finish, and answered questions from interested students.
