Michael Williams explaining his approach of 3D sound production
This workshop organized by Jean-Francois Bau in partnership with PSI loudspeakers and local partners was a great opportunity to hear Michael Williams' work in the range of 3D audio capture using his MMAD approach. Decorelated sound from 6 to 16 microphones were listened on a specific speaker layout, offering an extended sweet spot for thirty lucky participants. Different contents: classical music and impressive ambiance recordings offered the audience to appreciate the high realism of space and timbre fidelity from this sound recording system.
