Summary

On day 2 of PRG setup, we got a basic intro of all of the equipment that we set up. We got a basic run through of how the monitors and cameras work, how to change monitors views and send different video signals to the different monitors through out the room that we set up on day 1. After the basic run through, we split up into two groups. One group 16 and another of 5. The larger group got together in a circle and discussed the planning of the event on Saturday. We put our heads together and ran through some ideas for performances, entertainment, what to run through the monitors, and over all what kind of event we wanted to have.
Meanwhile, the smaller group got to finish loading the rest of the equipment for the projectors. This involved stacking equipment, opening crates, and connecting the equipment together. Once the larger group finished setting up the projector equipment, both groups got together and assigned students different jobs for the day of the event. The jobs included, stage managing, camera working, producing, creative producers, etc.
Overall, day 2 was a very educational experience and very productive. The students left very excited for the event and looking forward to experiencing something a little different than the typical day at CRAS.
