With a fully-packed studio, Gustavo's workshop on Tuesday invited to do a recording for a duo, while focusing on some aspects of pre-production too. After going thru the equipment and DAW to be used, the importance of the proper positioning of microphones for technical as well as musical reasons was discussed, stressing this approach as an opposite to doing a quick take and having to find "a sound" later on while mixing.
Guests were invited to listen and distinguish between all differences in mike placement; Gustavo made a point in recording Quetren playing together at the same time, something which had an impact on the spots for the microphones.
