Attendees were very luck to congregate in The Hoagy Carmichael Room at the Archives of Traditional Music to hear an introductory talk about the preservation and archiving proceedings at Indiana University. Following the presentation by Tony Tadey, members were taken on a tour to learn more about the metadata used, digitization process, and preservation efforts. Facilitators took guests through the vault to see what Indiana University Is storing, how sources are being stored, and then listen to some current projects engineers are working on. Attendees included faculty, students, and local audio professionals.
