The past November 12, the conference about organizational elements in musical production, was developed in collaboration with AES Colombia. It was given by Juan Carlos "El chato" Rivas, bass player, and very well know musical producer with a great record in Colombian musical scene.
The conference begun with a short presentation about the benefits of becoming a member of the AES community, this was given by Andrén Millán, chair of the AES Colombian sectional.
After this, "El Chato" invited the attendees to define the qualities of a good musical producer, and then he explained each of those qualities by giving examples of his own experience. With all this, he finished the conference by showing how to estimate a budget for a musical production and how to consider all the factors there involved.
