Summary
Peter Svensson from the University in Trondheim, Norway, was visiting CTU in Prague. Since his activities are very closely related to Audio Engineering we used this opportunity to set up another Section meeting. His presentation had two parts, one concerning the measurement of acoustic pressure by a microphone array to estimate a HRTF, the other included a survey of computational methods used in acoustics from the point of view of accuracy and time effectivity. Q-a-A topics included in the first part relation of results to subjective tests and error relevancy and in the nature of experiments illustrating some examples.
