In this meeting we discussed the upcoming and past events at our student section. We reflected on the "Wacky Drum Recording Workshop" that Mark Rubel held at Echo Park Studios on September 23rd. Everyone had a great time and thought we should have more events like that.
There will be a mixing competition organized by our chapter soon. We have a Focusrite VRM Headphone Amp to give away to the winner, and judges willing to participate. Now we just need a session to mix. Also, the idea to include students from the whole Central Indiana Region was brought up.
Other upcoming events are the AES Central Indiana Convention in Muncie on February 22nd and a tour through the IU Audio Archives. Both events will be attended by members of our chapter.
Finally we discussed organizational things about the upcoming New York Convention with the students that will be attending.
