The Sennheiser demonstration turned out to be a very informative evening. Warner Swain and David Missal covered a number of topics related to Sennheiser wireless microphone technology. Starting with a brief history, they continued on to explain a number of different uses of wireless mics; from recording golf tournaments, to setting up sound reinforcement systems in schools, to miking up churches. They also discussed issues regarding the way the FCC regulates wireless frequencies, and they finished with a number of demonstrations, including showing that their wireless mics could be on the other side of a concrete wall from their receivers and still work.
