A late afternoon meeting with Sabino Cannone of Morevox, an accomplished mastering engineer and sound designer, has been arranged at the SAE Institute in Milan. Sabino has given a presentation on emerging professions based on the concept of sound design, ranging from acquisition and optimization of samples for musical instruments, to the many aspects of mastering for different playback options, including the latest mobile platforms. His relevant past experience as a mixing engineer has been an important starting point for his exploration of new professional opportunities.
The room made available by the SAE Institute was packed, and several questions were answered at the end of the presentation.
