Summary

Michael Nunan discussed the monumental task of delivering a completely digital discrete 5.1 broadcast for the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver. He covered recording of the "Olympic Suite" a large library of audio assets used to give the broadcast a sonic identity, the infrastructure, workflow, and technology needed to generate the thousands of hours of audio needed for the 17 day event, and other issues associated with the broadcast of the Games.
