Meeting Topic: New Orleans Blues, TC Helicon Harmonizer and The Talk Box

Summary

The evening started with a presentation on New Orleans Blues by Scott Lane.
He gave us a history and in?uence of the genre with a brief example of music from that
style. Next up we had up Ike Shultz with a gear presentation with the TC Helicon
Harmonizer. Great demo of this gear that ended up being interactive with a few students
trying the gear for themselves. Last we had Rahmon Dillerd with his gear presentation
of the Talk Box. He showed us a different side of the Talk Box by hooking it up to a
keyboard instead of the traditional electric guitar. In the end we we running the Talk Box
through the Harmonizer. Very fun interactive meeting this week.
