Jamie Anderson Demonstrating Rational Acoustics Smaart Software
Summary
Jamie Anderson from Rational Acoustics gave a seminar on their Smaart software. The seminar consisted of; what Smaart is, what it is used for, and how to use it. We were then shown the process of using Smaart for tuning control rooms, calculating the phase, magnitude, and timbral shift imparted by a piece of equipment, or tuning a PA system. This event was an invaluable learning experience for Live Sound and Studio students alike.
