Summary

The meeting has been designed by AES Italian Section (Alberto Gaetti) in partnership with Deltatech and the municipality of Sogliano al Rubicone in order to raising awareness in people about sound recording techniques, mastering artifacts and proper listening conditions.
The first session focused on the development of new velocity acoustic sensors; during the second session of the meeting, the speakers presented some comparative example of recording and mastering techniques by using different sound equipments (tape reels, records, CDs) and different mastering processes.
