Cables
- Soldering kits will be ordered within the next two weeks whenever we get approval from USGA.
- We may be able to practice soldering sooner if we can find spare kits around the school
Firehouse 12
- The trip to Firehouse 12 will be on Saturday 12/1
- There will be a morning session and an afternoon session
- Sign ups will be online and will be first come first serve
- We'll have more details once everything is confirmed
Fundraisers
- Looking to do a fundraiser for a music charity, if you have any ideas let us know
Mix Contest #1
- We will be having our first mix contest starting next Tuesday.
- Winner will receive a pair of AKG headphones
- The song will be "Shakedown St." from the McLovins' performance in the German Club the other week

- Next Wednesday Mark from Manic Productions will be coming to talk at the MEISA meeting. Those interested in booking shows are encouraged to attend. 6:15pm in Meeting Rooms A&B in Bartels
Compression Presentation — Tim Burke/Chris Reba
- Explanation of different parameters of a compressor (threshold, ratio, attack, release, make-up gain, etc.)
- Demonstration of both software and hardware compressors

At this week's meeting we discussed various club-related matters, and had a presentation on the basics of compression including demonstrations of both software and hardware compressors.
