Summary

On 9th to 11th October, we had two events: "Student Sound Award" and "Introduction of the students research laboratories" at AES Japan Conference in Sendai 2012.
This is the 5th "Student Sound Award" that we held, and many student recording works were applied to this competition.
Some of the great names of japanese audio (Masaki Sawaguchi, Masaaki Enatsu, Hiroyuki Murakoshi and Kimio Hamasaki) were the judges of this competition.

Fours prize - "alone" / Ryo Kamizuru / Tamagawa University / BFD2+Expansion Pack: Kabuki & Noh

The main objective of the "Introduction of the students research laboratories" was to know the usual activities research topics of each audio learning facilities research laboratories.
Students from University of Aizu, Research Institute for Electrical Communication, Yamagata University, Tokyo University of the Arts,
presented about the research theme and contents of the laboratory, research facilities and studios.
