Summary

We held a study meeting, "AES Japan Student Section Sound & Music Workshop vol.2" at AUDIO&HomeTheater SHOWROOM on and on at Shintomicho in Tokyo on 26th May, and on 1st Sep.
The meeting was titled "listening of sound works by the students", we brought our sound works and listened them, then exchanged and discussed our ideas about it.
The students from Tokyo University of the Arts, Institute of Sound Arts, Senzoku Gakuen College of Music presented their works in which students did including animation sound design, surround recording, composing and mixing.
Questions and answers section was also made, were we discussed the structure of sound design, relations between sound effects and composing, surround recording methods and methods of surround mixing with stereo sources.
Almost all people present in the event joined the after party, were we talked to each other about usual activities, helping to widening the circle of students.
