Summary

Benjamin Kanters from Hear Tomorrow came and talked to NESCom's AES division about hearing conservation, and related topics. He first discussed how hearing works and how hearing damage occurs. Then he discussed how hearing damage sounds to the individual along with various results of hearing loss; such as tinnitus. Finally he discussed how to protect yourself and the necessary pieces of information so that you don't damage your hearing.
