Summary

This free event welcomed Markus Koch from Bang and Olufsen, Germany. Mr. Koch discussed some of the challenges in created high quality, immersive audio environments in high-performance automobiles such as BMW and Audi. Digital signal processors in the automobile are responsible for the equalization, delay, dynamic and up-mixing of a wide variety of input sources: classical music, loud metal music, talk. Automatic vehicle noise compensation was also discussed.

The event was very well attended and there were a number of interesting questions. A light breakfast was also provided.
