Summary

This event showcased many speakers that presented topics including: sound design, specialized tools and platforms for media production, as well as music placement and legal issues. Jesse Lindsley of Thrust Interactive spoke on his career in the gaming industry. He also talked about the qualities that an upcoming sound designer must have to make it in the gaming industry. Greg Shearer of Street Level Sound spoke about his career as a sound designer and composer for television. Benjie Freund and Chris Nicholson spoke on sound design for gaming as well as foley artistry. The event ended with a panel with all speakers. Joe Shiver of the AES Atlanta Section moderated the event.
