Around the Seattle area, Washington, U.S.A.
Microsoft Studios are located in Redmond, near the Nintendo buildings.
Microsoft Building 127
4420 148th Avenue NE
Redmond, WA 98052
425-703-1363
General Note: The portion of 148th Avenue where MS Studios are located has a barrier to prevent left turns. You must approach the building from the south, so that you can turn right into the parking lot.
From Seattle
Take I5 to SR520 eastbound.
Take the NE 40th Street exit, turn left at the top of the ramp, then proceed West to 148th Ave NE.
Go right onto 148th Ave NE. Look for the VFW hall's sign.
The studio parking lot is the next right turn. There is a smallish sign telling that this is Building 127.

From I405 Corridor
Take I405 to SR520 eastbound
Take the NE 40th Street exit, turn left at the top of the ramp, then proceed West to 148th Ave NE.
Go right onto 148th Ave NE. Look for the VFW hall's sign.
The studio parking lot is the next right turn. There is a smallish sign telling that this is Building 127.

From Southbound 148th Ave NE (changed!)
If you're travelling Southbound on 148th, there is no left turn allowed in front of the studio so you must approach the studio from the rear.
From 148th Ave NE, turn left at NE 51st (7-11), then turn right at 150th Ave NE (next right), then go looking for the studios, which will be on your right. It's just past the tennis courts.
If you get to NE 40th, you missed it, but make a right turn there, go out to 148th Ave NE, turn right again. Turn right into the studio parking lot.

Once you arrive
There is a sign in front of the building that says "Microsoft Building 127." Go to the door in the middle of the building. It will say "Studios" on the door. Call the contact number above if you have any problems.

Parking surrounding the building is free. If the lot is full, park on the street (150th Ave. NE) behind the studios.

Alternate Routes

If you don't know it already, the SR520 bridge, at best, is a poorly disguised parking lot. It takes nothing to cause it to switch function.

Before you attempt crossing Lake Washington this way, check the WSDOT traffic web  to see if the bridge has already become a parking lot. If it has, your alternate routes are to drive around the north end of Lake Washington (Lake City Way), or to use I-90. I-5 north to I-405 south also works; it's about the same between driving further at freeway speed and the shorter route on surface streets.

If you are already south of SR520, use I-90 to cross the lake, and then go north on I-405 to connect with SR520. Even if you are not south of SR520, it can be worthwhile to take the "long way" via I-90.
