Erik Nordström is a recording engineer/mixing engineer /producer at Opus3 Records and a consultant at Thuresson Microphones. In the past he has engineered for Stockholm Records, Opus3 Records and Caprice Records among others. Between 2006-2013 he wrote the column The Studio in the Swedish Guitar Magazine FUZZ.
He is a committee member of the Swedish AES Section and a member of SSES, Swedish Studio Engineering Society.
Nordström also holds a position as Assistant Professor in Audio Technology at the Luleå University of Technology in Sweden. At the sound engineering program, he works as both lecturer in music recording techniques and as the program coordinator.
