Design engineer specializing in architectural acoustics and sound systems related to a broad variety of spaces, including recording studios, lecture halls, performance venues, theaters, conference rooms, Houses of Worship, athletic facilities, museums, mixed-use and industrial environments.
Design, engineering, consultation and measurement services may encompass projects at the conceptual or schematic design phase, or other milestones throughout a project.
Noise and vibration control, room modeling/analysis, design contouring a room or building towards specific acoustical/technical goals, sound system design (critical listening to high-intelligibility music/PA), troubleshooting/diagnostics for acoustical or reinforcement scenarios — my experience, awareness and innovative solutions are key elements in the process.
Studied Electrical Engineering (B.S.) with a concentration in Electroacoustics.
Nearly 45 years of professional experience comprising multiple fields associated with acoustics, audio electronics, sound systems, recording engineering, live sound engineering and lecturing.
All work experience throughout virtually my entire life is related to sound, audio reproduction, physics, music, audio electronics and the design of dedicated systems and devices.
