About
In 1971 Simon built the Manor Studios in Oxfordshire and went to become a Recording Engineer. He Engineered, Produced and Co-Produced many albums. In 1977/78 he built Matrix Studios with colleagues and went on to work there. In 1982 he worked in the Film Industry as a Music Producer/Recordist/Consultant on Films recording Soundtracks in London, Dublin, Prague, Budapest and Munich.In 1990 he joined Chop 'Em Out in London which was to become a leading Audio Post Production facility specialising in Re-Mastering/Mastering/Audio Restoration and all things Analogue and Digital. In July 2003 Simon set up Super Audio Mastering in a large barn at his home in Devon, South West UK. He has always been an exponent of leading edge technologies in the field of Audio, through Analogue technologies, the birth of the CD and onto Non-Linear Editing and the Sonic Solutions DAW and to High Resolution Audio formats for both Stereo and Surround Sound.
