Why Am I An AES Member?

I was contacted by the AES Nashville Section to join and serve on their committee to add the broadcast experience to the mostly studio audio engineers that were currently members. Since then I have enjoyed creating our "Spring Mixer", an area school mixing competition that has been very popular. Being a musician, meeting and getting know some of the industry icons has been a very humbling and educational experience for me.
