About

Todd was an acoustical consultant for nine years, doing room acoustics analysis, noise isolation, environmental studies, and designing lots and lots of sound systems. His thirst for knowledge eventually took him back to school in Denmark in 1999, where he earned his Master's degree in Acoustics. Working at Harman since 2000, Todd has had the privilege of working with some wicked-smart people and some of it might have rubbed off! Some of his many projects at Harman include: 2-D log-spaced arrays, subwoofer/room optimization, Binaural Room Scanning, and headphone measurement and subjective evaluation. Todd holds multiple patents and has published numerous AES and ASA papers over the last 18 years.

Why Am I An AES Member?

I have received a "PhD" in audio and acoustics from reading AES papers, attending AES conventions and conferences, and just hanging out with like minded AES members. Being involved in Technical Committees, workshops, panels etc. has also been a huge learning opportunity for me.
