After college (B.S. in Education-Speech & Dramatic Arts) wandered into jobs as a substitute teacher, disc jockey, state park ranger and lifeguard before I went to Orlando to work for Disney as a stagehand and recording engineer for 6 years. Ran away to NYC to begin a new career mixing sound for Broadway musicals: A Chorus Line, Evita, Cats, Phantom, etc.; which took me to 120 cities in the US and Canada plus Munich on tour. Liked San Francisco, so moved to California in 1983 and brought my hang glider back to S.F. Lots of variety being a stagehand: worked on 43 movies as a Boom Operator, Cableman, Lamp Operator, Electrician, Set Decorator, Grip, Carpenter and Pyrotechnician. We also do theatre, TV, commercials, and convention work.
