In 2000, Mark Sandler was presented with the AES Fellowship Award in recognition of pioneering work in Digital Audio Amplification.
In 2011, Mark Sandler was presented with the AES Board of Governors Award in recognition of co-chairing the AES 42nd International Conference on “Semantic Audio” in IIimenau, Germany, July 22–24, 2011.
In 2014, Mark Sandler was presented with the AES Board of Governors Award in recognition of his co-chairing the 53rd AES International Conference in London, UK, in January 2014.
