Lewis Frisch began his career in broadcasting and audio in 1963, assisting at a small radio station in New Milford, CT while still in High School. He opened a recording studio in Atlanta,Georgia in 1976, went on to launch the region's first real-time cassette duplication facility in 1980. He moved into the sales of magnetic media and by 1982 was supplying tape, recording accessories and equipment to studios throughout the Southeast. He became a leading dealer and later Regional Sales Manager and Press Officer for AMEK US Operations. In 1994, he returned to retail, serving as Sales Manager for the next six years at Comprehensive Technical Group in Atlanta. Gepco International appointed him as their Eastern Regional Sales Manager in 2001. In 2004, Frisch left Gepco and, in association with the Swiss company, Gotham AG, he founded Gotham Audio LLC. In 2008, he secured the continuation and renewal of Stephen Temmer's distinctive Gotham Audio trademark in the US. Frisch has lectured on the History of Recording Technology at colleges and performing arts schools since 1987.
