Andrew Poulain represents Dolby Laboratories as Director of World Wide Cinema Products where he is responsible for the company's portfolio of audio electronics, loudspeakers, digital cinema servers and accessibility product for the cinema market. Andrew joined Dolby in 2011 as a principal member of the team that launched Dolby Atmos where he oversaw the development of the Dolby Atmos Cinema Processor CP850, Dolby Atmos technical specifications, and automatic equalization tools for studio and cinema calibration. From 1999 to 2011 he was at THX Ltd. as an applications engineer and then as Director of Cinema and Studio Programs responsible for the certification of cinema dubbing stages, multichannel mixing environments for consumer content, commercial cinemas, professional equipment approval for certified venues, and trailer loudness measurements for the Trailer Audio Standards Association (TASA). Andrew is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).
