Why Am I An AES Member?

I'm an AES member because the late Gabe Wiener told me I should join. I'd already been to my first convention (while still a student) and was knocked out, but figured membership was beyond me. Gabe convinced me and then introduced me to Jerry Bruck & Marc Aubort & so many other wonderful colleagues. I've been a member for over 20 years.
