Carlos Freitas has been working as audio engineer for 30 years and he is owner of the Mastering Studio Classic Master located in São Paulo Brasil.
He studied at the Berklee School of Music and the Faculty Casper Libero. Throughout his career, he worked with major international and Brazilian artists such as Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Toquinho, Tom Jobim, Milton Nascimento, João Gilberto, Roberto Carlos, Djavan, Ed Mota, Marisa Monte, Carlinhos Brown, Arnaldo Antunes, Luciana Souza, Sky, Ivete Sangalo, J-Quest, Bon Jovi, Alice in Chains, Seal, Prince, Guns n Roses, Simple Red, George Michael, NY philharmonic, Leningrad, Moscow and Israel OSESP among many other names.
It has seven Latin Grammy nominations in the category "Audio Engineering" in the years 2006, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013, and several Albuns Grammy and Latin Grammy nominated and winner and in the years 2000, 2002 and 2011, received the award "Best Brazilian Professional Mastering". from Profissional of Year Award promoted by Otavio Brito.
