About

I provide technical audio consulting and engineering services largely focused on music recording and production infrastructures. The range of work and services I provide is wide. I've been doing a lot of different things since I started in 1977... or 1974 if you count my TEAC 3340 days. My current work includes custom gear builds, some product design and short production quantity (bespoke/boutique) manufacturing, technical systems design for studios, some specialized sound system designs, some acoustical work and facility design, and even some recording engineering and production.

Education Background

some various college studying Physics, Math, Journalism and Communications... no degree. Institute of Audio Research in its early days 1976-77 full program... most of not all of the Bruel and Kjaer courses in architectural acoustics and measurement (late '70's early '80's)... various manufacturer training and relationships... strong autodidact skills. I learned a lot from mentors and learn more from mentoring and just sharing and trading knowledge between peers. I learn new stuff every day and plan to keep that up until I drop.
