I am a professional consultant who also enjoys songwriting, guitar playing, recording and jamming with friends. I have always held a passion for music and electronics. This led me to the Physics Department at Georgia Tech where I met several lifelong friends and colleagues, most importantly Dr. E.T. Patronis. His courses were instrumental in shaping my professional career. While at Tech, I also had the honor of studying under Dr. William Marshall Leach in the School of Electrical Engineering.

Ballentine Walker Smith Inc.
I have been consulting in acoustics since 1992. Our firm tackles jobs from recording studios to jet engine test cells.
I joined AES at the suggestion of Dr. Patronis to network with other engineers in my field. I have met several colleagues in the local Atlanta Chapter. Although I am too busy to be as active as I'd like, the AES provides an invaluable resource for research and networking.
