Harman International - Hardware Architect

- Lead definition of new automotive audio amplifiers with advanced SOCs, DSPs and audio power stages
- Design and implementation of system blocks of complex hardware architectures, taking into account quality, cost and serviceability in cooperation with international teams
- Monitoring of new technologies and their components, communication with suppliers
- Collaboration in the analysis and evaluation of customer requirements (RFC, RFI, RFQ)
- Customer dialogue and presentations
- Participation in the implementation of new standards
- Create system designs, circuit diagrams, circuit diagram integration taking into account operational guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments such as mechanics, quality, production and software
- Collaboration in the creation of technical specifications
- Technical management of internal and external employees


- Master or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Knowledge of LF audio Amplifiers, System on Chips (SOC), Ethernet, A2B, CAN and MOST bus systems
- Knowledge of the automotive industry requirements including EMC and thermal design


- Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in embedded real-time hardware development


- Good written and verbal communication skills both in English and preferably German
- Flexible in terms of tasks and responsibility
- Ability to build relations and work independently
- Self-motivated, passionate about audio and high sense of responsibility
