About the Job:
iZotope is looking for a fearless sales leader who is a proven channel builder, with strong online commerce ability and international sales experience. Our new Director of Sales will develop iZotope’s international sales strategy and oversee the direct and retail sales teams’ people and processes. Qualified applicants should have a proven track record of sales growth and sales management including online, inside, and retail sales channels. An international approach is vital to iZotope’s growth plan and this position should exemplify this. A passion for audio or multimedia technology is a plus. This position reports to iZotope’s VP of Sales and Marketing.
Key Objectives for the Director of Sales
Expand iZotope product awareness and drive International sales via strong retail partners, reps, and product specialists
Oversee iZotope’s business to business sales teams and business to include music and post production studios and businesses, educational institutions, houses of worship, and forensics
Direct E-commerce strategy, set forth goals and initiatives to drive direct business
Establish iZotope’s inside sales team to convert sales and get first hand market feedback into the organization
Hire, train and manage exceptional sales people for iZotope’s organization
Oversees iZotope’s direct and indirect sales channels
Develops new and existing strategic markets and regions for iZotope products
Drives iZotope’s sales goals and objectives for the entire sales organization
Determines annual revenue and expense forecast and budget for sales department
Manages, trains, mentors, and motivates iZotope’s retail sales team, brand managers, independent sales reps, and product specialists in key territories
Communicates market and channel trends back to iZotope management and product managers
A qualified Director of Sales will have:
7 to 10 years sales management and international sales experience
Proven ability to create and develop new sales channels
A thorough understanding of direct and indirect sales in both hardware and software
Experience launching new hardware and software products in order to develop the right marketing and sales efforts
Live sound reinforcement or MI (Musical Instruments) experience which is preferred but not required
A passion for audio or multimedia technology which is a plus
This position is full-time and requires the candidate to be able to work at our Cambridge, MA office.
