Development Engineers – Audio Engineering

This has resulted in a strong and stable growth of our business, and we are now looking for 2 new colleagues: Dedicated and smart development engineers who would like to join our Audio Engineering team working within the field of acoustics and sound quality evaluation.

Passion for Audio Engineering

We are an Audio Engineering team of 10 people which uses our passion and creativity to do acoustic concepting, algorithm concept evaluation & overall sound quality evaluation. You will be part of setting direction for our overall sound design and audio architecture and take part of developing and demonstrating new acoustic concepts as part of frontloading new projects. On top of that you know how to evaluate and communicate sound experiences in a subjectively way to various stakeholders – i.e. what does it mean for the end-user.

2 Audio Engineers

Due to our growth and focus on technology activities we seek 2 new colleagues to strengthen electro-acoustical design & partnership audio requirements. For one of these positions you will work with electro-acoustical design tasks within front-loading and scoping of new acoustic concepts in early project phases. The other position will focus more on strengthen and ensuring knowledge around various audio & regulatory requirements.

The profiles we are looking for are:


Profile 1:

• Experience in working with acoustic design around microphones and speakers
• Experience in acoustic verification methods
• Experience in design of passive & active noise cancelling (Digital ANC)
• Used to do concept work in early project phases
• Used to communicate on end-user-perceived level to various stakeholders
• Subjective evaluation and how to communicate sound concept results
• MATLAB & Python experience is an advantage

Profile 2:


• Knowledge about relevant audio standards for audio evaluation especially within telecom
• Knowledge about measurement systems for audio evaluation
• Knowledge about relevant regulatory standards especially related to telecom
• Experience in objective and subjective sound quality evaluation methods
• Motivated to develop new measurement setups and guide how to optimize existing
• Motivated in working with various partnership requirements and guide how to implement
• Preferably knowledge of SoundCheck and HEAD acoustics ACQUA audio analyzers
