Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
Bose Automotive Audio Systems Engineers shape the overall in-vehicle listening experience with their unrivaled experience and knowledge in vehicle acoustics, psychoacoustics, audio amplifiers, transducers, and DSP based algorithms.
Responsible for developing, optimizing & calibrating the hi-performance Bose Audio systems of the future.
Embrace the kaizen spirit, advancing Bose technology by developing new or creative Audio Systems solutions.

Must Have The Following Skills, Abilities And Knowledge
Strong passion and drive to succeed
Excellent understanding of Acoustics and Psychoacoustics theory
Excellent understanding of Acoustic Transducers (microphones and speakers)
Excellent understanding of DSP theory
Experience in audio amplifier design is desired
Experience in system design & integration with automotive electronics, and electronic control modules is desired
Proficient in the use of Matlab
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Ability & willingness to learn and quickly apply new ideas
Working knowledge of test and measurement equipment including National Instruments, LMS or Head Acoustics
Flexibility to travel (domestic and overseas)
Position involves driving prototype vehicles to evaluate & verify system performance; Valid driver's license is required with a clean driving record
3 + years of relevant industry experience required (mid level) (or 1+ year co-op/intern/relevant experience for entry level)
Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical or Equivalent degree with an emphasis on Audio Engineering, DSP, or Communications.
Masters of Science in Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical or Equivalent is preferred
